The brand name AANYA was chosen carefully by Suhasha herself to reflect their intentions of offering something unique & different for customers. AANYA means “unique / limitless” in Sanskrit & ‘අනන්ය’ in Sinhalese which also translate into unique. It is truly a suitable name as we want to create designs that are all inspired by both ethnic and western wear making them both unique and trendy for today’s fast growing fashion forward women.
AANYA truly seek to go beyond as we believe strongly in women empowerment and consider all women as superheroes due to the hardships they go through in life as they perform various vital roles in society. That is why AANYA has pledged to contribute 5% of their total monthly revenue towards the cause of uplifting women’s welfare in Sri Lanka.
